SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

On 20 October 2020, Prince Sultan University’s (PSU) Global SME Policy Network (GSPN) signed an agreement with the L20 and Saudi National Committee of Workers Committees (SNC). The President of the PSU, Dr Ahmed Yamani welcomed the delegates from the L20.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Week 2022

With the aim of providing policy guidance for educational institutions, governments and international organizations. GEPN seeks to collect information on the health and well-being of students in higher education in light of the Covid19 pandemic and is connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3 - Health).

The new UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH) has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Prince Sultan University in Saudi Arabia, dedicating themselves to working together to improve global health.

Prince Sultan University SDG Club as part of the Center for Sustainability and Climate (CSC) aims to engage students in higher education to achieve Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and in the global effort to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDG) agenda towards sustainability and climate justice, as well as empower them with the knowledge, skills, and pathways to action to be effective agents of change today.

Prince Sultan University's Model United Nations Society started off back in 2016. Many of our delegations were sent out to conferences like HarvardMUN, PragueMUN, RUHMUN, among many others, earning numerous awards in all of them. However, ever since 2019, PSUMUN has sought to host its own conference at Prince Sultan University, inviting students from all Saudi to participate and discuss topics that are defining the world as we know it.

All programs of PSU have a meaningful commitment to meaningful education around the SDGs

Over 40 students participated in the Prince Sultan University Toastmasters Club meeting about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on November 7, 2021. First, Dr. Tahira Hoke (Club Founder) announced the word of the day as 'Sustainability,' reviewed the definition, and shared PSU's SDG 2030 website https://www.psu.edu.sa/en/PSU-commitment-to-SDG2030.

The Second International Conference of Smart Systems and Emerging Technologies provides an excellent forum, which contributes new results in all areas of Artificial Intelligence, Internet-of-Things, Emerging Technologies, Unmanned Systems, Communication and Networking, and Cyber-Security in line with technological advances in the Kingdom under the umbrella of the Vision 2030.

Professor Mohammad Nurunnabi PhD (Edinburgh), FAIA(Acad), SFHEA, FRSA, CMBE, CMA, FFA, FIPA, CPA from Prince Sultan University was a distinguished speaker at the Inaugural Conference of Saudi Youth for Sustainability themed Thriving Together - King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia.
