His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, inaugurated the College of Medicine and the University Hospital at Prince Sultan University.
The inauguration was announced during a meeting at the Governor’s Office in Al-Hukm Palace with His Highness Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees; Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Yamani, President of the University; and a delegation of PSU representatives. His Royal Highness reviewed a presentation on the College of Medicine and University Hospital project, highlighting its advanced academic programs and modern teaching and training facilities designed to prepare highly qualified national medical professionals in accordance with the highest professional standards.

Academic Accreditation
The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program has received the official approvals required to deliver high-quality medical education in accordance with the national regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Council of Universities Affairs approved the establishment of the College of Medicine at Prince Sultan University in 1448 AH (2026).
The MBBS program also received approval from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in 1447 AH (2026).
The program awards the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree to students who successfully complete the 188-credit-hour study plan and a 12-month internship year.
