The Smart Systems Engineering Laboratory in the
Electrical Engineering Program is organizing the Sumo Robotics Competition in
its first edition on the campus of Prince Sultan University. The competition
aims to enhance the scientific and technical skills of young people by enabling
them to design and manufacture sumo robots and compete in the wrestling ring.
Eight teams will compete in this competition, with each team consisting of
three to four members from different specializations. The competition will
culminate in honoring the winners. To participate, each team must register,
noting that the last date for registration is January 30, 2023.
