The College of Law at Prince Sultan University is proud to announce that its Master of Commercial Law program has been accredited by the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres), the French international accrediting body for higher education.
The accreditation visit, which took place on January 29th and 30th, 2024, marked a significant milestone for PSU as it sought validation and recognition for the quality of its legal education programs. Led by Dr. Sandrine Clavel, the Hcéres accreditation team included esteemed panel members: Dr. Alexandra Mendoza-Caminade, Dr. Walid Ben Hamida, and Dr. Nawal Daffeur. Their expertise in higher education evaluation and legal studies provided a comprehensive assessment framework for evaluating the MCL program at PSU.
“On behalf of Hcéres, I am pleased to inform you that the Master of Commercial Law is granted a 5-year accreditation,” said Ms. Michelle Houppe, the head of project and representative from the Hcéres. “It is the true recognition of the great work accomplished by the College, namely the team in charge of this programme and the Evaluation & Academic Accreditation Center. Sincere congratulations and thank you again for the nice welcome of your community.”
“This 5-year accreditation is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our faculty and staff to excellence in legal education,” said Dr. Abdulaziz Altuwaijri, Dean of the College of Law. “It is a true privilege to be part of this remarkable institution, and I am proud to have our programs receive such a prestigious validation from Hcéres.”
The Master of Commercial Law program and its faculty members are led by Professor Jawahitha Sarabdeen. Prof. Sarabdeen's extensive experience and research contributions have been instrumental in managing and shaping the program's curriculum and ensuring its alignment with the evolving needs of the program.
