In the online education environment, communication is extremely important.  The instructor needs to develop an overwhelming sense of presence as the students do not have the face-to-face contact and in most cases at PSU nor do they have the opportunity to see their instructor during class time.  It is vital that we give feedback, show our presence via the online platforms, social media apps used, emails, or even developing podcasts for the students to watch.
